Donations and Fundraising
Couple Counselling Lothian is firmly committed to helping make Scotland a safe and healthy place to live. Throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians we aim to support relationships so that they are safe, happy and satisfying. We believe that everyone has the right to a healthy emotional state of being, mental well-being and safe and contented family life. We make a difference through relationship counselling and family therapy aimed at individuals, couples and families of all types and sizes. If you believe in our goals and would like to help us you can make a donation by sending a cheque made out to Couple Counselling Lothian and send it to the address below. Alternatively, if you would like to set up a regular donation to the agency, let us know and we will organise the paperwork. Your support will help us to give a first class service to those whose economic circumstances are not so fortunate.

Gift Aid
Through Gift Aid Couple counselling Lothian can claim 25p for every £1 you donate. And, the good news for some clients is that if you pay tax at the higher rate (40%) you can claim tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return. You can download a Gift Aid form here.
Leaving a Legacy
Leaving a gift to Couple Counselling Lothian in your will has the power to help people change their lives and make better choices to live in healthy and safe relationships. A bequest to Couple Counselling Lothian will help us to provide our specialist services to vulnerable families and children who would normally lack the financial resources to access the help they need. Please write to Mrs. Jane Maxwell Symon at the address above for further information.
Making a Bequest
There are a number of ways to distribute your estate in your will. The three most common forms are:
Residuary: This refers to what is left over from an estate once all other commitments have been met. This remainder can be shared out as percentages of the residual estate.
Pecuniary: Here you may leave a precise sum of money or thing.
Specific: Here you can specify something such as a work of art, savings account, life assurance policy, or building, etc.
