Do Counsellors have special training?

All our counsellors are fully trained practitioners who have either completed a three year training with Relate Scotland, or have completed an external training which would enable them to apply for BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) or COSCA (Confederation of Scottish Counselling Agencies) accreditation. In addition to these we also have some trainees undergoing a Diploma course who have reached a point in their training when they are ready to work with clients. All our counsellors receive ongoing supervision and have access to a range of continuing professional development courses.
